Comments from the instructor (Project Proposal Feedback)I did want to give you all some further guidance regarding the final project based upon the project proposals received.Overall I was pleased to see that you all understood the context.  What wasn\'t perhaps as clear from all of you is that the problem you are addressing is procurement in terms of strategy and planning rather than how you would specifically procure some of the items you expect to need from the case study.  The objective is that at the end of your assignment (if we imagine you are consultants) that the organization will know how to go and procure different types of products and services. You have 3 objectives for the final project1. Determine a procurement strategyWhat are the organizational objectives from procurement e.g. transparency, ethical, building strategic relationships, how you will approve suppliers (including whether you will hold an approved supplier list), e-procurement etc (think unit titles)Some links which may help - http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDgQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yor-ok.org.uk%2FCommissioningNatDocs%2F3%2520Strategic%2520procurement.doc&ei=zqMNVPzCEoXE7AbZs4GQAw&usg=AFQjCNGItSfcXE_GyrjTFfclfcwUDkFzXwhttp://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDgQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yor-ok.org.uk%2FCommissioningNatDocs%2F3%2520Strategic%2520procurement.doc&ei=zqMNVPzCEoXE7AbZs4GQAw&usg=AFQjCNGItSfcXE_GyrjTFfclfcwUDkFzXw, http://www.apuc-scot.ac.uk/docs/PSG%20052011%20Strategy%20Guidance.pdfhttp://www.apuc-scot.ac.uk/docs/PSG%20052011%20Strategy%20Guidance.pdf 2. Determine a procurement planHow do you recommend procurement be undertaken? This is where you would ultimately end up considering and evaluating your approaches to procurement (yes, there is likely to be some overlap with the strategy). How will you propose to undertake tendering and why? Would you recommend PTN? Will you...
